Life during the Japanese occupation

During the Japanese occupation, some people were placed in prison where people could not complain and were treated the same regardless of their race of religion. Everyone showered together daily and were given limited time. This taught them to be fast.People also died because of sickness. The Japanese had no respect for women. Schools were opened and everyone had to sing the national anthem everyday. Everyone had to bow northwest to pay respects to the emperor and had to celebrate the emperor's birthday. Japanese concerts were introduced to them. Eveyone had to bow to the Japanese soildes whenever they saw them.

Am i happy with who am i? Why?

Oh thats an easy question. I love to be me. Because the thing that I am most proud of is my family. You would consider 10 people is a big family, however I have about 60 family members. You see, my dad has 10 brothers and sisters. He is the youngest of the brothers.

The thing with having a big family is that you know a lot of people will support you no matter what. Sure some cousins may be closer to one another but so what. As long as we know that if someone in the family is troubled, we will try our best to help them. And the best thing about my family, is that during Christmas, they will all come to my house and play games, eat and talk, But I love it when they give out presents. Because everyone will come together and shout for each other's names.

But my best friend is my twin sister (But she does not look like me. So, you would not believe that we are even sisters!) Although I am not as smart as her, she does not act as if i'm stupid. But the person that inspires me most is my mother. You would think that just because she is a housewife, she has not much to do. But you are TOTALLY WRONG! Being a housewife is not an easy job. In fact, I think that it is one of the most busiest jobs.

And that is why I love being me.

Anne Frank

Hello! Today's writing will be on me reflecting on Anne Frank, Bruno (the main character from the book and movie, The Boy In Striped Pajamas) and the war caused by Hitler.

I just cannot imagine that more than 2 million people were killed just because they were Jewish. And we have one man to blame, Adolf Hitler. The Jews were extremely hated by him. But i strongly do not think that it is right to kill people just because of their race.

Anne Frank was a Jewish girl that lived in Amsterdam. And the sad thing was that Hitler was alive then and he hated the Jews. Thus, Anne Frank and her family went into hiding. Anne Frank wrote in her diary ( which was given to her on her 13th birthday) everyday. She wrote about her thoughts and the things she did. But sadly in the end the Germans found she and her family.

Bruno is a fictional character but in the book it tells us what Hitler did and what his soilders had to do. Now that is real. Hitler thought that he was making the world a better place by killing thousands of Jews. But obviously it was so wrong. Now, Bruno's father was a very important soilder and had to be moved into the countryside near the camp. Bruno had no idea what was going on. He did not know what his father was doing until he met Shumel, a Jewish boy while he was out exploring. The story goes on how their friendship progress and what they did.

Indonesian Police

Hi! Today's topic will be on Indonesia Police. The police have killed two Islamist militants and arrested six.

One of the masterminds of the 2002 Bali bombings, Dulmatin, was shot dead near Jakarta.

I think that the Indonesian goverment is doing the right thing by protecting its country's people. I mean what is a country without its people?

Singapore is very lucky to have tight security system. I think the chances of people bombing Singapore is 90% out of 100%.

News On China

Hello, its me again! Ok....now, im writing about news on CHINA.
China says that they did not hog the Mekong River water.

They said that the changes in the Mekong River water has nothing to do with their activities. Now, you may be wondering what are the changes? So this is the reason, there have been unusual flooding along the Mekong two years ago.

China's dams have been blamed for this year's severe drought, which has hit fishermen, farmers and tourism operators in lower Mekong countries, including Thailand.
